An automatic transmission requires increased attention and special operation. In addition to changing the oil, in the automatic transmission it is periodically necessary to change the filter, which is necessary to extend the service life of the automatic transmission.
Instructions
Step 1
First remove the protective covers that are located on the bottom of the gearbox. After that, drain the working fluid directly from the automatic transmission, remove the old gasket and install a new one in its place. Tighten the plug and proceed to remove the pallet.
Step 2
Remove the bolts that secure the pallet. If after that it continues to hold, carefully examine it - most likely the rubber gasket has stuck to the automatic box. Try to pull it off with a jerk, remember that it contains a large amount of oil that can get on your clothes and on the things around you.
Step 3
After that, carefully remove the old gasket, which in some places will be very difficult to remove. After getting rid of unnecessary rubber residues, thoroughly wash the pallet and set it aside.
Step 4
Remove the filter by unscrewing the three screws that secure it. Be careful when detaching the filter as it contains oil that can damage your clothes. Change the gasket in the filter and reinstall everything in the reverse order.
Step 5
After the operation, be sure to fill the gearbox with new oil and start the engine, making sure that it warms up to normal temperature. Shift the gearbox to each position with a delay of a few seconds. Then set the lever to the “P” position and measure the oil level, which should be at the correct level, otherwise top up.
Step 6
Remember to ensure that the tightening torques are correct when reassembling. So, the tightening torque of the bolts that secure the pallet should be about 8 N * m, the filter attachment - 10 N * m, and the pallet plug should be tightened with a torque of 49 N / N * m.
