The bulkhead of the main brake cylinder must be carried out by competent specialists, therefore, in the event of malfunctions, you yourself need to replace the cylinder only as an assembly.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare a special wrench that is designed for brake lines, a set of wrenches of various diameters and pliers. After that, remove the wire from the negative terminal of the storage battery and remove the air inlet pipe. To do this, disconnect the ventilation system hose from the fitting and loosen the clamp that secures the air supply duct.
Step 2
Then disconnect the sleeve from the throttle assembly. Disconnect the air duct fastening clips that connect it to the upper radiator frame. Take out the air duct and unscrew the fastening of the air filter housing to the bracket, and carefully pull it out.
Step 3
Unscrew the plug that is attached to the reservoir of the master brake cylinder and drain the fluid from there. After that, disconnect the clutch release hose, which is connected to the reservoir pipe. To do this, loosen the hose clamp by squeezing its ears with pliers. Pull out the wire connector from the brake fluid level sensor.
Step 4
Remove the nuts that secure the pipes to the cylinder. After that, turn the pipelines in the other direction. Do not forget to put protective caps on the ends of the pipes or plug them with any available material, this is necessary in order to prevent leakage of brake fluid.
Step 5
Using a wrench, unscrew the fastening of the master cylinder to the vacuum booster and disconnect it together with the reservoir. After replacing, reassemble in reverse order. Remember that if you did not pinch it when removing the cylinder hose, then during the installation process you need to bleed the clutch release hydraulic drive. This is necessary to remove excess air from the system. Also make sure that the brake fluid is topped up to the correct level.
