Step 1
Free play of the clutch release fork is necessary in order to exclude constant rotation of the release clutch bearing. This will help to save not only the specified part, but also the clutch drive plate from premature wear. Accordingly, the vehicle's overhaul period also increases significantly.
Step 2
After installing and attaching the gearbox to the engine and installing the clutch slave cylinder, they begin to directly adjust the release fork free play.
Step 3
Further, holding one part of the rod motionless, a threaded tip is screwed or turned out into it. When the fork reaches a free stroke of 4-5 mm, the threaded part of the stem is fixed by tightening the lock nut.
Step 4
A return spring is put on the fork, and this completes the adjustment of the free travel of the clutch release fork.
