Step 1
Replace door trim. To do this, pre-fill and paint, and then replace. Decide on the material that will be used for the interior design. Approach this with special care, because each material has both its advantages and disadvantages. Many people opt for leather, but this is an expensive pleasure.
Step 2
Make patterns for individual parts of the salon. Approach this activity with great care and precision. The selection of patterns is individual for each element. For example, to fit a handlebar, measure its circumference and spoke width. If the configuration is complex enough, then make more allowances. However, if you want all the upholstery details to fit snugly, then a couple of centimeters can be subtracted.
Step 3
Tuck the casing into place and secure carefully with a special stitching along the entire length. You can add two stitches, use a thick, strong thread to secure the fabric securely. Replace upholstery of seats and door inserts, head restraints. Carefully remove the seat covers, do not throw them away - they will serve as a pattern for new material.
Step 4
Take the blade and rip the covers apart at the seams. You will receive individual panels - they need to be transferred to a new material with which you will fit the interior, for example, leather. Cut out the blanks and sew on a typewriter using a double finishing stitch, which will look nice and give extra durability to the covers.
Step 5
Turn the finished products right out and slide them onto the seats. Spread them out and tighten carefully. Take an iron and a rag through which to smooth them. Remember it is best to use one or two colors of material. The variety of colors is undesirable, it will look ridiculous.
