In winter, when the outside temperature can fluctuate from positive to -30 degrees and below, the lack of heating of the Gazelle's cabin is especially acute. This is due to the design features of the car, in particular with the structure of the central air intakes. In winter, the discomfort from the influx of cold air from there is especially acute. How to warm up the Gazelle salon?
It is necessary
Gazelle car, insulation in the form of cardboard sheets, an additional radiator, for example, from the Niva, a repair kit for connecting it
Instructions
Step 1
First you need to cut out the plugs on the central air intakes. There is nothing wrong with this action. After the end of the work, it will be possible to fix them in their original place with the help of packing tape.
Step 2
Then remove the car's torpedo. Next, free up the space around the standard heater. Then you can disconnect the heater from the car. Now carefully remove it too.
Step 3
The next step is to remove the heater cover and fix the additional radiator inside. Connect it with pipes to the Gazelle cooling system. Carry out all the necessary actions (shorten the fittings, make fasteners) to secure the additional radiator. Remember that the standard and additional radiators must be connected to the system in series.
Step 4
The last stage of this difficult work is to assemble the stove and install it in its place under the torpedo.
