Unstable engine idling causes a lot of anxiety to the driver, who is forced, during short stops at traffic lights, especially on sloping roads, to press on the brake with one foot and on the accelerator with the other, so that the car does not roll and stall.

Instructions

Step 1

Each of us more than once observed such manifestations from the outside, and for sure, at least once, he himself got into a similar situation. To call it comfortable, it is unlikely that anyone will succeed in driving a car whose engine is not capable of stable idle speed. The reason, as a rule, lies in a faulty idle speed sensor, which is replaced immediately.

Step 2

Therefore, at the first opportunity, a motorist visits a car shop, where he acquires a new idle sensor in order to replace a faulty part of the power system.

Step 3

Then the hood rises and the ground cable is disconnected from the battery.

Step 4

Then, a block with electrical wires is disconnected from the idle speed sensor located in the throttle body.

Step 5

Then, with a screwdriver, the two screws securing the specified part to the unit body are unscrewed, and the sensor is removed.

Step 6

Replacing the O-ring, the new sensor is installed in its original place.

Step 7

And after tightening the two mounting bolts and attaching the electrical block to it, the new idle sensor will again provide the conditions for creating stable idle engine speed.
