Step 1
If the power plant of KAMAZ does not start due to discharged batteries, then they must be charged. The restored electrolyte density in the battery will provide the starter with the energy necessary to start the engine.
Step 2
In those cases when problems with starting the engine appeared after replacing the fuel filters, then the diesel fuel preparation system must be pumped before turning the key in the ignition lock. To remove air on the high-pressure fuel pump, two bleed fittings are opened in turn, and with the help of a manual boost pump, diesel fuel is fed into the fuel line until there are no air bubbles in the fuel flowing out of the nozzle openings.
Step 3
Having lowered the cab, and snapping the latches while sitting behind the wheel, the "gas" pedal is fully pressed, after which the starter is turned on. When the engine starts to “grab” the revs and work intermittently, the gas pedal is always held in the pressed position, and only after the engine responds with all its power, having developed revs, it is released.
Step 4
If the engine is started in winter, in frosty weather, then the air filter element is first removed from the car. Then, at the moment the starter is turned on, a burning torch is brought to the air intake, and the engine, having made two or three revolutions with the crankshaft, will certainly start, regardless of the ambient temperature.
