Modern gas equipment makes it possible to use gas as fuel for a car. At the same time, the standard gasoline power system is still in demand and works in parallel with the gas one. For the correct operation of HBO, its precise adjustment is required.
Instructions
Step 1
Before setting up LPG, check some engine components. The compression in the cylinders should be 6.5 kgf / cm2. Check all plugs and wires and make sure that the path is completely sealed.
Step 2
Switch the gas reducer to the "Petrol" mode and start the car. Warm up the engine to operating temperature, idle at 800 rpm. Then shift the gearbox to neutral.
Step 3
Please note that the order of LPG adjustment directly depends on the dispenser type. With a two-piece system, unscrew the first section to "maximum" and the second to "minimum". Unscrew the single-section dispenser to the "maximum". Tighten the idle screw as far as it will go and turn back five turns.
Step 4
Switch the button to the "Gas" position, start the car and, using the choke, set the rpm to 1500 - 1700 per minute. After that, completely "drown" the adjustment knob so that the engine works confidently with the choke off.
Step 5
Now adjust the sensitivity of the gas regulator. To do this, carefully unscrew the sensitivity bolt, and when this no longer affects the idle speed, screw it back in two turns. Briskly press the accelerator to check the LPG adjustment. The throttle response of the engine should be powerful.
Step 6
Adjust the metering screw to determine the threshold at which the RPM changes. Then unscrew the screw half a turn. In a two-section dispenser, the first chamber is adjusted in the same way. When adjusting the second chamber, the position of the screw is reduced by a quarter of a turn.
Step 7
Invite an assistant, who should press the gas pedal to set the engine speed to 3200 - 3700 per minute. At this time, tighten the adjustment screw a quarter of a turn. Repeat the procedure until dips appear. When this happens, back out the screw half a turn again.
