It is necessary

  • - certificate of compliance with Euro-4 standards;
  • - documents for the right to own a car;
  • - technical passport of the car;
  • - certificate of vehicle identification data.

Instructions

Step 1

You can import a car from Kazakhstan without paying a duty, this is due to the conclusion of a customs union between the countries. There is no customs control at the border, so there will be no problems with crossing it.

Step 2

Remember that the car must not be more than seven years old. In addition, there are some subtleties on the year of its release, associated with the entry into force of various customs documents. Thus, all cars produced before January 1, 2010 are not subject to customs tax. For a car produced in the period from January 1 to July 1, 2010, you will have to pay extra, since it will be considered a product not manufactured in the territory of the customs union. All cars manufactured after July 1, 2010 can also be imported into Russia duty-free.

Step 3

One of the problems when importing a car into the territory of Russia may be its compliance with the Euro-4 environmental standard. The required certificate must be obtained in Kazakhstan. Without it, you will not be able to obtain a PTS (vehicle passport). One more unpleasant nuance should be taken into account: if you were denied a Title Deed, you will no longer be able to clear this car through customs in Russia. Therefore, the collection of the necessary documents should be approached with all responsibility.

Step 4

If the car does not comply with Euro-4 standards, you will be able to import it only after the necessary re-equipment and the provision of an appropriate certificate. Please note that the reality of the conversion will be checked. If you are caught in a lie, your data will be entered into the computer base and you are unlikely to ever be able to import anything from Kazakhstan. If there is a real conversion and a certificate, there are no problems with obtaining a title deed.

Step 5

The registration procedure itself is quite simple, you need to show the imported car and provide the following documents:

- application of the established form;

- a certificate confirming the compliance of the car with Euro-4 standards;

- Your passport;

- technical passport of the car;

- title deed;

- certificate of vehicle identification data.

After the documents have been checked, you will be given a TCP.
