This will de-energize the on-board power supply system and avoid short circuits. Open the front doors as much as possible. If the mechanism does not hold the doors in this position, then insert a piece of wood between the door and the car body.

Now find the location of all the screws that hold the torpedo. They can be closed with plugs. remove all bolts carefully. At the same time, try to remember which bolt was removed from where. This must be done as the bolts may vary slightly in length and diameter. Incorrect positioning during reassembly may damage the threads of the sockets. Also, the panel is held by plastic clips. Having unscrewed all the bolts, take the panel on the sides and pull a little, first in one direction, and then in the other. It will be removed from the latches.
Step 3
Pull the torpedo toward you five centimeters. On the back, you will see wire bundles. Disconnect the terminals after marking them. Now nothing holds the torpedo. Remove it from the passenger compartment through the right passenger door. turn right side down. You will see the instrument housings that are bolted in place. Unscrew the bolts. Remove the speedometer bulb from the connector, after removing the trim ring at the front. Use a blow dryer to gently heat the edges of the glass. The sealant will melt and you can remove the glass. Perform this operation with gloves. The remnants of the old sealant must be carefully removed from the glass and plastic case. Use a plastic fork to carefully remove the arrow. Then unscrew the small bolts and disassemble the body.
