Carbon deposits in the combustion chamber of the engine are formed due to low-quality gasoline, as a result of which carbon deposits of unburned fuel appear on its walls and piston bottoms.

Instructions

Step 1

Remember that, above all, carbon deposits "hit" the valves, piston rings, which has an extremely negative effect on their mobility. Methods for removing carbon deposits or decoking are conventionally divided into soft and hard. In the process of gentle cleaning of carbon deposits, the piston rings of the engine are freed with the help of a special composition added to the engine oil. It should be applied approximately 100-200 km before a complete oil change. Do not forget that during this period you must operate the engine avoiding extreme loads. The disadvantage of gentle cleaning is that it does not affect the combustion chamber and engine valve and is rather a preventive measure when changing the oil.

Step 2

Harsh cleaning is the main way to get rid of carbon deposits. The first thing you should do is remove all the candles. Then set the pistons of the cylinders to the middle position, for which raise one of the front or rear wheels and, having included the last gear, begin to rotate it. The position of the pistons can be found with a screwdriver through the spark plug holes.

Step 3

Now you can pour the pre-prepared liquid there - about 25 ml each using a syringe. In order for the liquid to reach the piston rings and dissolve the carbon deposits, turn the wheel alternately in different directions with a small amplitude, which will set the pistons in motion. This activity is very laborious, and it can take an hour.

Step 4

Then, with the gear disengaged, crank the engine with the starter for 10 seconds. This will be enough to remove the remaining fluid in the cylinders. Do not forget to remove the center wire from the distributor cover before that and fix it so that there is a gap of no more than two centimeters between the ground and the end of the wire, after which you can tighten the candles, reinstall the wire and start the car. Be prepared for foul-smelling smoke coming out of the exhaust pipe after starting. After about 20 minutes of idling, you can hit the road.
