Due to low quality gasoline and additives, carbon deposits form on the spark plugs, which interferes with normal sparking. The voltage can spark a spark between the inside of the electrode and the skirt. A mixture that does not burn properly due to a poor-quality spark contaminates the spark plug even more, greatly hampering the operation of the engine, causing "tripping" and difficult starting.
Necessary
To clean candles, you need a candle wrench, clean kerosene and an old unnecessary toothbrush
Instructions
Step 1
Remove the high voltage wires from the spark plugs. Remember which wire goes to which candle. Otherwise, in order to put the wires back on, you will need to look for instructions for the car. Unscrew the cylinders using a spark plug wrench. This must be done carefully, not allowing dirt to get inside the engine.
Step 2
Soak the candles in pure kerosene for thirty minutes. If possible, dip only the space between the skirt and the central electrode of the candle in kerosene, try not to dip the ceramic tip into the kerosene again.
Step 3
When the carbon is soaked, scrub the skirt, body, and center electrode with a toothbrush. If possible, blow out the spark plug with compressed air from the compressor.
Step 4
Carefully install the cleaned plugs into the engine head. Tighten the threads with a wrench. Install the high voltage wires in the same order in which they were installed before removal.
