Quite often, motorists are faced with the problem of how to start a car in winter or warm it up. During a frosty night, the car's battery is discharged, which “freezes” the starter's work - it will no longer be able to spin the starter to start the engine in the morning.

Instructions

Step 1

In order to warm up the starter of a car, first try to help the battery not freeze overnight - it can be saved by at least a half-hour drive or by warming up overnight without turning off the engine and using music, servos, seat and window heaters.

Step 2

Another way: take the battery to a warm home for a short time to warm up. And in the morning, before starting the car, turn on the high beam a couple of times and "blink" them to warm up the battery. Now try to start - do not turn the starter for more than ten seconds. Three attempts and, if the car does not start, repeat the action after a few minutes, no less.

Step 3

Do not forget to preheat the battery, for example, by turning on the dipped beam or the dimensions. In this case, you can not be afraid of discharging the battery - these processes will only warm it up and start all the necessary elements.

Step 4

If the battery is so discharged that the starter not only does not start, but also does not turn on the lighting in the car, then try to "light" your car. Couldn't or not be able to warm up and recharge it like that? Do not hesitate - carry the battery directly home, to the battery or a basin of hot water. And after warming up the battery, charge it and start the starter again.

Step 5

If the vehicle is hard to start, allow it to rest for a few minutes. Let the battery recharge too. And try again for about 5 to 7 seconds. But do not keep it in startup for more than 10 seconds - it will drain the battery and flood the candles.
