It makes no sense to restore a car that has exhausted its service life and is out of order, having malfunctions in the engine, gearbox, or chassis. Since the repair of such cars will cost much more than purchasing a new car.
Necessary
- - a set of locksmith tools,
- - lifting mechanisms.
Instructions
Step 1
A thoroughly worn-out car is subjected to detailed disassembly. The technology for carrying out such work is the same for all cars, and the disassembly of the Skoda does not stand out in anything special.
Step 2
Having disassembled the car, spare parts and components are sold or left "in reserve" (if the owner intends to purchase a car of the same name).
Step 3
At the first stage, the battery is disconnected and all body and interior parts are dismantled: hood, trunk, doors, fenders (if they are removable), seats, interior trim, floor covering, steering wheel, front panel, glazing.
Step 4
Further, the units are dismantled from the car: the engine and the gearbox. Then the gearbox is disconnected from the motor and all attachments are removed: generator, starter, water pump, etc.
Step 5
Removable in the engine compartment: cooling system radiator, washer reservoir, steering rack and wiring harnesses. Moreover, it is advisable to remove the wiring entirely, without cutting the wires. The windshield wiper mechanism is also removed.
Step 6
At the final stage, the drive axle and front beam are dismantled from the machine, which are also disassembled into components. Wheels with disks - separately, shock absorbers and springs - too.
Step 7
You can also, if desired, disassemble the drive axle: pull out the axle shafts and the gearbox from it. Remove the bcnz tanks and pipes from the body: fuel and brake.
