Every car owner must be aware of the existence of a dial gauge or light indicator that indicates the level of pressure in the lubrication system. It is not for nothing that such an indicator is displayed on the panel - the most prominent place of your car. In order to avoid damage, each driver must constantly monitor the readings of this indicator.

Instructions
Step 1
Warm up the engine to operating temperature (over 60 degrees).
Step 2
Turn off the engine and unscrew the pressure sensor, which is usually located in the cylinder head.
Step 3
Connect a suitable gauge to the system instead of the gauge. Use adapters of different diameters for connection.
Step 4

Step 5
Stop the engine again. Turn off the pressure gauge when the oil pressure in the system drops to zero.
Step 6
Reinstall the pressure sensor.
Step 7
Compare the readings with the values stated by the engine manufacturer and make the appropriate conclusions.
