Instructions
Step 1
Raise the hood of your vehicle and locate where the engine mounts need replacing. Take a close look at all parts and the area around the pillows: they are usually attached with large bolts, and you may need to remove and remove other parts to gain access to the pillows.

Disconnect the battery terminals to ensure the safety of the work being carried out.
Step 3
Raise the vehicle with jacks and place it on the repair stands. Now, using a set of wrenches, disconnect any parts of your vehicle that might interfere with the installation of the engine mounts. It is best to collect bolts and nuts in the process of work in small packages, and they, in turn, can be signed with a marker to facilitate subsequent assembly and not to confuse anything.
Step 4
Use a jack to raise the part of the engine that is on the cushion to be replaced. Try to place the jack as close to the attachment point as possible. This simple trick will allow you to avoid unnecessary stress on the various engine components and on the rest of the pillows, and will greatly facilitate your repair work.
Step 5
So you got to the pillow. Examine it carefully from all possible sides and determine how best to remove its fasteners. Some bolts are easiest to loosen from under the machine, and for some you will need an assistant to hold the lock nut with a wrench while you loosen the bolt.
Step 6
Disconnect the pad from the frame and engine. Apply a thin coat of medium retention thread glue to the bolts and reinstall the new pad. Make sure to replace all bolts in their old places. Following the same principles, you can replace all other pillows as needed.
