The limiter, installed on the doors of the passenger compartment, serves to prevent their excessive opening, and also fixes the open door in two positions: nominal and maximum - which helps to preserve the integrity of the doors.
Necessary
- - pliers,
- - a 10 mm spanner.
Instructions
Step 1
In cases where the limiter is out of order due to a malfunction, if the door is opened carelessly, it is likely that the outer door lining will be damaged. And if the described malfunction is detected, then the owner must be eliminated as soon as possible.
Step 2
Dismantling the device to limit the maximum opening of the door takes no more than thirty minutes from the repairman. In preparation for removing the limiter, it is necessary to first dismantle the trim installed on the inner surface of the door.
Step 3
Further, from the open door, the spring rods of the limiter are disconnected from the rack, which are compressed with pliers, removed from the attachment points and retracted to the side.
Step 4
Then, using a 10 mm spanner, two bolts are unscrewed on the edge of the door. Having released the stopper from the fastening, it is removed inside the door.
Step 5
All further steps for assembling the door are performed in the reverse order.
