Instructions
Step 1
Prepare material for film application. Place it on a completely flat surface. In the case of worn-out materials, remove dust, old paint and rust from the top layer. Remove residual dirt with detergent, then wipe with a solvent to degrease the surface.
Step 2
Lay Oracal on the prepared surface, peeling off the protective film and wetting the adhesive side with a solution of water and a mild detergent.
Straighten the film gradually, pressing with a squeegee and expelling any air bubbles left between the base and the film. Try not to stretch the vinyl to avoid deforming the finish in the future.
Step 3
To speed up the setting, if the air temperature is not high enough, dry the surface with a hairdryer.
Leave the finished structures until completely dry and adhesion of the glue in a warm room for several hours.
Eliminate the possibility of sudden temperature changes during this time.
