Step 1
Buy a set of deflectors from a car dealership that are glued to the windows. It is better to choose a foreign manufacturer, because of the better gluing quality compared to domestic ones. Ask a helper to attach them to the door frame. Get into the driver's seat yourself and look carefully into the side mirrors; visors should not block your view and interfere with normal driving. When installed correctly, they will reflect at a specific angle.
Step 2
Thoroughly degrease the door surfaces, after removing all dirt and dust from them using special napkins, which should be included with the deflectors. Take a windscreen in your hands and gently peel back the protective film from the outer layer at both ends a short distance. If you want, you can warm up the adhesive strip and the installation site on the machine with a building hairdryer - this will increase the adhesive properties and increase the service life.
Step 3
Place the deflector in its place, and carefully glue the edges, step back and look at the subject of straightness. If everything is in order, then pull the protective film out from under the visor and glue it completely. It is better to perform this operation with an assistant: one holds and fixes the deflector, and the second carefully removes the film and finally fixes it to the surface. With this algorithm of actions, it is possible to correct the position of the glued deflector at the initial stage.
Step 4
Then press down on the windscreen and hold it for a few minutes. Remember that all work should be carried out in a warm room at temperatures above + 10 ° C. The entire installation process will take you about 10 minutes. The advantages of such deflectors are a large selection for any car model and ease of attachment. However, there are also disadvantages, the main one being careful surface preparation.
