Unfortunately, even an experienced and accurate driver is not insured against situations on the road, the result of which is the deprivation of a driver's license for one period or another. But any longest term ends one day. After its expiration, in order to release the coveted document, you need to contact the traffic police department to which it was seized, or apply for its transfer to another.
It is necessary
- - passport;
- - certificate of passing the driver's medical examination;
- - a court order on the basis of which you were deprived of your rights.
Instructions
Step 1
According to the current version of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, the countdown of the period for which you were deprived of your rights begins from the moment you submit a temporary permit to drive a car (temporary driver's license) to the traffic police after the entry into force of the corresponding court decision. If you have not done this, then, according to the law, this very term did not begin.
Step 2
If the time of your forced separation from the car by all formal criteria has expired, you should contact the traffic police department with the necessary set of documents. First of all, this is a passport and a valid certificate of passing the driver's medical examination.
The court order on the basis of which you were revoked your driver's license is not included in this set of mandatory documents. But it's better to have it with you.
Grab also confirmation of the date of delivery of the temporary driver's license: a document received from the traffic police department, or a notification of delivery of the letter, if you sent the temporary license by mail.
Step 3
Subject to all formalities, the driver's license must be returned to you within one working day from the date of contact.
If you received an unlawful refusal, then you have the right to appeal it to a higher authority and the prosecutor's office (you can both there and there).
