The maintenance regulations for the car provide for removing and checking the condition of the spark plugs after it has traveled 10,000 kilometers. For owners of domestically produced cars, this procedure does not pose any problems. The same cannot be said about the owners of foreign-made cars, on which, in order to get to the spark plugs, it is necessary to disassemble half of the engine.
It is necessary
- Candle wrench,
- hard bristle brush,
- compressor.
Instructions
Step 1
First, the hood rises, and high-voltage wires are removed from the candles.
Step 2
Further, with the help of a brush, the debris in the cylinder head, in which the spark plugs are located, are cleaned of debris. At the end of cleaning, the sump must be blown with compressed air to prevent dust and sand particles from entering the engine cylinder.
Step 3
Then, one by one, with a candle wrench, the old spark plugs are unscrewed from the cylinder head, and new candles are wrapped in their place.
