Adjusting the optics will provide good illumination of the curb and give you the confidence that the light does not dazzle oncoming vehicle drivers.

Instructions
Step 1
Check the condition of the car's suspension parts. Measure the tire pressure, note the difference in tire size. Provide an even distribution of the load in the vehicle body. All of the above factors have a significant impact on the direction of the light beam.
Step 2
Fill the car tank with fuel to half its volume. Invite a second person to sit in the driver's seat while adjusting the headlights for more precise tuning performance. Check the condition of the lamps in the headlights. Be sure to replace them if you find that the glass bulbs are darkened.
Step 3
To set up, select a flat area with a wall adjacent to it. The selected area must be at least 7.5 meters. Take a piece of chalk and mark the screen on the wall. To do this, park the car as close to a wall as possible and place the mark in the middle of the front of the body on it. Then mark the center of each headlight on the wall surface.
Step 4
Measure seven and a half meters from the wall and place a pole or stick slightly to the side. Drive the car away from the wall to the set mark. Draw a straight line between the center marks of the headlights, connecting them. Mark the marks themselves with vertical lines.
Step 5
Step down from the horizontal line 7.5 cm and draw another line parallel to it. Turn on the low beam headlights. Cover the left headlight with a piece of cardboard.
Step 6
Adjust the right headlight using the adjusting screws that move the reflector vertically and horizontally. Please note: the upper edge of the beam should coincide with the lower horizontal line on the wall, and the top of the corner in the spot of light should coincide with the vertical line passing through the center of the headlamp. Then cover the right headlight with cardboard and adjust the left in the same way.
