Changing the bulbs in the headlight of the car is a task that all car owners face. Sometime you have to do it for the first time, sometimes not in the best conditions. What to do, light bulbs do not last forever, and the time of their service does not depend on us.
Instructions
Step 1
Make sure the ignition and all appliances are turned off.
Step 2
Get to know your car better, examine it carefully.
Step 3
Try to determine if your model has a flap in the fender liner. To do this, examine the wing. If found, then go to step 21.
Step 4
Raise the hood of the car.
Step 5
Examine the interior of the car (engine compartment).
Step 6
Find the plug (the rubber band closest to the center).
Step 7
Evaluate the possibility of removing it for your hand (is there free access).
Step 8
If the palm passes freely, go to step 20.
Step 9
Determine what is in the way (battery, air filter housing) and if it can be easily removed or moved.
Step 10
Free up some space if you can. The hand passes freely to the plug, go to step 20.
Step 11
Start removing the headlight if you can't get to the plug at all.
Step 12
Prepare tools: wrench, screwdrivers.
Step 13
Find and unscrew the bolts (there are two) of the headlight mounting.
Step 14
Move aside the air intake sleeve if it gets in the way when removing the right headlight.
Step 15
Disconnect the power cord.
Step 16
Swinging slightly, push the headlamp towards you (in the direction of travel) and slightly upward to disengage the latches.
Step 17
Pull until you pull the headlamp out of the socket completely, try to do this carefully so as not to break the clips.
Step 18
Turn the removed headlight upside down.
Step 19
Press the latches and remove the headlight cover. Go to step 21

Pull on the tabs and remove the rubber seal.

Disconnect the plug.

Unclip the wire clip by turning it all the way.

Now you can change the bulbs in the headlight. Replace the burned-out ones with new ones of the same capacity. Try not to touch the glass with your hands.

Reassemble in reverse order.
