Firstly, in no case use an electric ciphering machine ("grinder") for glass polishing, because its torque is much higher than the required speed for polishing a glass surface. In this case, the electric drill, according to its technical characteristics, having 1200-1700 rpm, is more optimal.

Secondly, only a Velcro attachment is used to secure the polishing wheel, consisting of felt material, in the chuck of the electric drill. Any others will not be able to provide high-quality glass polishing.

Thirdly, be especially scrupulous when choosing a polishing paste. The result of painstaking work to restore the glass surface depends on its properties and quality. In no case should you buy pasta of dubious production. Although they are sold at a lower cost in the retail network compared to imported ones, such savings can result in an inevitable replacement of the windshield.

Before starting the glass polishing process, it must be thoroughly washed with a glass cleaner.
