Nowadays, gas equipment is quite often installed on cars. During operation, it does not need adjustment. The setting of gas equipment is carried out mainly in the event of various kinds of malfunctions of the reducer - evaporator. The car starts to start badly on gas, the dynamics of acceleration becomes worse, "dips" appear during acceleration and uphill climbs.

Instructions

Step 1

Most often, third or fourth generation equipment is installed on cars. It is on such equipment that problems usually arise with the natural wear of the gearbox parts - the evaporator. Sometimes the problem lies in the clogging of the filter, which is located in the gas solenoid valve. It is very problematic to repair and adjust this equipment. That is why it is best to contact a specialized station, which has all the necessary equipment for setting up the backup controller program. Also, the station must have devices that determine the level of CO and oxygen in the exhaust gases.

Step 2

If you have 1 and 2 generation LPG equipment, then you can adjust it yourself. However, it is best to check the CO content of the exhaust gases at the inspection point. Note that the gas content should not exceed 0.35-0.45%. If the CO level is too high, then use the throttle position screw on the carburetor to add revolutions. Also reduce the amount of gas using the idle screw on the reducer. If the CO content is underestimated, then everything is done the other way around. After that, make a similar adjustment, but with the engine running on gasoline.

Step 3

You can adjust the gas equipment and maintain constant control if you weld into the muffler after the "pants" an adapter nut for a heated oxygen sensor from Lada injection models.

Step 4

Connect the heater wires to the probe in parallel with the gas valve. Pass the signal wires into the passenger compartment with a shielded wire and connect to a voltmeter. Voltmeter readings in the range of 0.2-0.8 Volts are considered normal. If the indicators are less, then the mixture is poor, if more, then it is enriched.
