They process the resulting cavity, then dry it with certain devices designed to work with such materials, and the crack ceases to be noticeable. To stop the propagation of a crack and prevent it from growing in different directions, you need to carefully determine its boundaries, and then drill along the edges. Then the repair material is already pumped in, after crystallization of which the glass is polished.
