Necessary

  • - a set of wrenches;
  • - a set of socket heads;
  • - puller of the steering rod joint;
  • - mounting blade;
  • - screwdrivers;
  • - lifting equipment.

Instructions

Step 1

Place the vehicle on a lift or inspection pit. Disconnect the terminals and remove the battery, unscrew the lower plug with a 17 key and drain the oil from the gearbox.

Step 2

Unscrew the bolts and remove the factory and additional, if installed, engine crankcase protection. Unscrew the bolt and remove the ground wire with the negative terminal from the clutch housing.

Step 3

Loosen the adjusting nuts on the end of the clutch cable with a 19 wrench and remove the end of the cable from the clutch lever on the box.

Step 4

Disconnect, using a key 13, the power positive and switching wires from the starter traction relay. Unscrew 3 nuts, disconnect and remove the starter.

Step 5

Loosen the bolt on the clamp with two 13 wrenches and disconnect the gear lever pull from the shift pivot located on the box.

Step 6

Disconnect the harness pads from the speed sensor at the top of the box and from the reverse light switch.

Step 7

Loosen the tightening of the two nuts securing the braces to the suspension arms, unscrew the bolts of the front brackets with a 17 to 3 wrench and spread both braces to the sides.

Step 8

Remove the cotter pin and unscrew with a 22 wrench the nut securing the steering rod joint to the lever. Using a special puller, press the hinge pin out of the rack arm. Disconnect the pull rod on the other side in the same way.

Step 9

Unscrew with a 17 wrench, two bolts on each side to disconnect the ball joints of the suspension arms from the steering knuckles.

Step 10

Using a spudger, gently press out any one inner CV joint and slide the actuator to the side. In its place, insert the old hinge or technological plug and only then disconnect the second drive.

Step 11

From the end of the box, unscrew the 3 bolts with a 10 wrench and remove the small clutch housing cover that covers the engine flywheel.

Step 12

Using a 19 key or socket head, loosen the nut and 3 bolts securing the clutch housing together with the box to the engine.

Step 13

Using any lifting device or device, it is necessary to hang the engine out by the eyelets so that the engine does not overturn when the box is removed.

Step 14

Unscrew the 2 nuts securing the rear engine support bracket to the body, then unscrew the nut and remove the bolt from the left engine support, then unscrew the 3 nuts securing the left support to the box and remove the support.

Step 15

Completely remove the 3 bolts and unscrew the nut securing the box to the cylinder block and remove the gearbox. At the same time, take it away from the engine strictly horizontally so as not to damage the spring petals on the clutch basket.
