Step 1

Step 2

Park the vehicle on a level surface so that the suspension is level and symmetrical. You can even rock the car several times for greater fidelity. It is best to install the brace on the lift. Place the parking brake on the vehicle. Open the hood. Install an extra jack to support the engine. This is necessary in order to relieve the load on the right engine mount. It is also better to disconnect the negative terminal from the battery to avoid electric shock or short circuit in the vehicle's electrical system.

Step 3

Loosen the alternator belt. Remove it carefully. Along the way, examine the belt for wear. Now you need to remove the bracket that adjusts the tension of the alternator belt. Now install the retaining plate between the bracket and the cylinder block. Slide the bolts into the slots. Locate the studs on the exhaust manifold. Remove the mounting loop from the far right. In place of the mounting hinge, install the bracket with the bolt inserted into it. Now tighten the thrust bolts and the bracket nuts.

Step 4

Reinstall the alternator belt. Adjust its deflection. Now unscrew three nuts on each side of the support cups. Install a stretch on them. Tighten nuts evenly. Now you need to adjust the position of the locknut so that the stretch does not warp. Check all connections.
