- a wrench for the hub mounting nut.
Instructions
Step 1
To eliminate the problem that has arisen, do the following:
- place the car on a level surface, - remove the protective cap of the wheel hub nut, - loosen the tightening of the four wheel bolts, - loosen the tightening of the wheel hub nut.
- place the rear of the car on a secure support using a jack, - turn on a low gear in the checkpoint and put underlays under the front wheels of the car.
Step 2
Then the mounting bolts are unscrewed, and the wheel is removed from the hub. Next, the brake drum and brake pads are dismantled.
Step 3
Armed with a universal puller, remove the hub from the trunnion and also remove the inner bearing race, which usually remains on the trunnion.
Step 4
On the hub itself, the retaining ring is removed, after which the bearing of the specified unit is removed with a puller. Further, all parts are thoroughly washed in kerosene or diesel fuel, and then a new bearing is pressed into the hub, and all parts are assembled in the reverse order.
