Duster is the flagship of the Renault car range. Its popularity lies in its simplicity and practicality. For relatively little money, you can get a real off-road vehicle.
Renault Duster, which rapidly burst into the Russian car market several years ago, threw back most of its competitors in the crossover class. Duster itself is positioned by the manufacturer as an SUV. And this imposes certain obligations on the car. The Duster SUV has an all-wheel drive system with three modes. The driver can decide for himself whether to use 2WD mode (front-wheel drive only) in the city to save fuel, or set to AUTO mode and engage four-wheel drive. The third mode - LOCK makes it possible to uniformly connect all-wheel drive and the ability to drive a car at a low (up to 80 km / h) speed.
The new Duster features more engine types. On the "mechanics" the choice starts with the engine 1, 6 and 114 hp. There are options for a 5 or 6-speed manual transmission. The only option for an automatic transmission is a two-liter engine with a power of 143 hp. The same option is available for lovers of "mechanics". Duster also has a turbocharged diesel engine (not yet available in Russia). All types of Renault Duster engines comply with the Euro5 emission standard.
In the basic configuration of Renault Duster there is a driver's front airbag, ABS system, remote engine start system, power steering. Everything you need for a minimum of comfort and a confident ride.
The disadvantages of Renault Duster include a rather austere interior, in the classic Renault style. The engine is noisy, the car has a stiff suspension, but it cannot be otherwise on an SUV.
