The motion sensor is designed to control light devices, receive information about the movement of people on the object, as well as to track traffic on the road, etc. But in order for it to serve you properly and perform all its functions, you need to connect it correctly.
Instructions
Step 1
Make sure the motion sensor is rated for the same voltage used by the machine. If it is intended to be operated with a remote control, then it can be placed a little further than arm's length. The easiest way is to connect it to the cigarette lighter.
Step 2
To do this, you need to get the wires included in the kit. This method is acceptable for those who do not like to tinker with the car's electrical wiring. But then the DVR will not interact with other devices in the car. All connected devices with a built-in sensor must not exceed the power for which it is directly designed. After you finish connecting the wires to the cigarette lighter, check that the sensor is functioning properly. If necessary, you can set the timer built into it at a convenient time.
Step 3
Remember, the motion sensor can be connected to the ignition system of the car. If you connect the power of the device to the IGNITION contact, then it will work only when the ignition is turned on. And if you connect it directly to the battery via a toggle switch, the recorder will operate in the "road" mode with the ignition on, at which it will write frames at maximum speed, and will work in the "guard" mode if the ignition is off.
Step 4
Please note that if the device is permanently connected to the battery through a toggle switch and a fuse, then the operating mode can be controlled through the installed alarm switch. Also, a control unit for external devices must be connected to it. Here you will need to make a connection using a normally open relay. When the alarm is inactive, the sensor will work in the "road" mode, and as soon as you put the car on the alarm, it will go into the "protection" mode, i.e. will record frames at a moderate rate.
