Step 1
Before passing the tractor license exams, complete education and training. It can be passed in institutions at Gostekhnadzor, technical schools and colleges of the corresponding profile, and some driving schools. The law allows self-preparation for the exam. The exam itself is taken by the Gostekhnadzor authorities at the place of registration.
Step 2
To obtain a tractor driver's license, collect a package of documents:
- application for the issuance of a certificate;
- receipt of payment of the state duty for the issuance of the certificate;
- relevant medical certificate;
- two photos 3x4;
- driver's license (if any);
- a document confirming the completion of the training (not needed if the training took place independently).
After the acceptance and consideration of all documents, the examination committee appoints the place and date of the exam.
Step 3
Fill out an individual form before taking the exams. Together with the passport, it is provided to the examiner. First of all, it is necessary to pass a theoretical exam on the safe operation of self-propelled vehicles. This is followed by a theoretical examination on the rules of the road. It can be accepted on examination cards or using personal computers. If you have a driver's license, you do not need to take an exam on traffic rules. In addition, an exam is provided for the provision of pre-medical care. In case of failure of at least one theoretical exam, a second retake is assigned within a period of at least 7 days. The score obtained on these exams is valid for 3 months.
Step 4
The next stage is a comprehensive practical exam on practical driving skills, safe operation and traffic rules. It takes place in two stages: on the site (tractor track) and on a special route in real conditions. To successfully pass the first stage, you must be able to perform the following operations on an ATV: snake, turn in a confined space, move in a straight line, enter the box. Penalty points are awarded for mistakes. To receive a certificate, there must be no more than 5 penalty points. Persons who fail the exam are sent for re-examination. In case of failure to pass the practical exam three times in a row, the next delivery will be possible only after additional training with the presentation of the corresponding document.
Step 5
A tractor driver's license of category "A" gives the right to drive motor vehicles (ATVs, snowmobiles) and other off-road motor vehicles not intended for public roads. It takes 16 years to get them.
