Step 1
If you have a light bulb on the informative panel, the backlight does not work or any device is out of order, first of all look into the book on the repair and operation of your car. Find a description of the problem there and start fixing it. First of all, carefully disconnect the dashboard from the car body, disconnect all electrical connectors. Be sure to disconnect the negative battery cable first. In this state, it can be easily examined and repaired.
Step 2
Carefully inspect all connections and contacts - they must be securely fastened and not have visible damage or breaks. Remove each fixture and visually inspect it for cracks, deformations, or chips. If the pixels on the screens disappear, do not be alarmed, the wiring is to blame. Pick up a miniature soldering iron or special transparent glue that conducts current well. Reconnect all connections and contacts carefully.
Step 3
In the event of a malfunction of the arrow, for example, when it moves jerkily, the drive of the arrow must be replaced. To do this, remove the faulty device from the panel and carefully change the drive. If desired, replace the arrow itself by changing its color or shape.
Step 4
When doing repairs, think about performing dashboard tuning. Put on a new backlight, insert rings, provided that the devices on the panel are made in the form of circles. If the breakdown is so serious that it is not possible to fix it, then purchase a new instrument panel.
Step 5
